NOW was made as part of the national 48 Hour Film Project—a yearly competition where filmmakers are given one weekend to write, shoot, and edit a short film. Each team receives a different genre along with the same character, prop, and line of dialogue. NOW follows the story of Kevin Gramp, a Time Extraction officer, who is faced with a choice—stay captive in the present or find freedom in a dreamlike past. It took home several awards including Best Director, Best Cinematographer, Best VFX, Best Wardrobe, and runner up for Best Film.
